Monogramming

Monogramming, initials, and full names are complimentary with a purchase from Garland Collection (excluding shipping). When choosing your desired lettering, please type carefully in the box provided, as we will engrave the item as you have instructed. Please remember, slight variations may occur as each piece is handmade and letter shapes differ by nature. We have carefully chosen a typeface that compliments the engraved border of each piece and have a specific process of proportioning all lettering for both initials and full names in script.  If you would like to have the date or a short message inscribed on the back of your piece, please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Gift Wrap

All pieces are carefully packaged in our fine Garland Collection or Garland Collects satin box with ribbon or a Garland Collection pouch. We never include invoices in our packages. If you would like us to include a note to the recipient, please let us know and we would be happy to prepare one from you.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We also accept checks and money orders, but we do not process the order until your payment has cleared. Sales Tax

Sales tax will be charged only if the item is being shipped within the state of California. California sales tax is 9.75%.

Shipping

All items are shipped within the USA via Fed Ex 2-Day Air and are insured to protect against loss or damage during transit. The cost for shipping is $25. We are happy to place international orders and most will be sent via USPS International Priority. We will notify you when the order has been shipped and we will send you a tracking number. Due to the nature of the pieces, packages will not be left without a signature.

Order Fulfillment

Garland Collection -- Since each piece is handmade to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery from the time the order has been placed, although in most cases the order will be ready sooner. Some pieces that require extra labor may take 2-4 weeks so that they may receive the attention they deserve and we will inform you of our expected delivery date. In the unlikely situation that an item that you have ordered will take longer than our usual design time, we will be sure to contact you immediately via email.

We know that many of these monograms are personal and there are situations in which a rush is requested. Please contact us if such a need occurs and we will do everything we can to have your special piece in the time you need. Also, please be sure to leave yourself ample time for making holiday orders. If you are not sure about timing, do not hesitate to contact us regarding delivery dates during the peak gifting seasons.

Garland Collects – We do our very best to update sales on our website immediately to avoid duplicate orders on a single piece, but please be advised that Garland Collects pieces are usually one-of-a-kind and are sold on a first come, first served basis. We will confirm your order via email. In the very unlikely situation that you have purchased an item that has just recently been sold, we will notify you of the situation and credit back your card immediately.

Returns

Garland Collection -- Due to the custom nature of Garland Collection made-to-order pieces, all jewelry is final sale and orders cannot be cancelled at any time. We stand by our fine jewelry pieces. Each piece is created individually for you and with care. Each order is checked and double-checked before it is shipped. If damage does occur during delivery, the item must be returned within 5 business day of receipt and only as authorized by Garland Collection – we will fix or replace the item if necessary and return the item to you promptly. We take great pride in the quality of our jewelry – please contact us if you have any questions.

Garland Collects – We will accept returns on Garland Collects vintage jewelry if notified of your decision to return the piece within 3 days of receiving the item. Please do not ship any items back to us without receiving instructions first. You may either return the item for a refund minus the original shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee or you can choose a credit for the full purchase price paid to be used towards the cost of any other Garland Collects piece of your choice (all Garland Collection fine jewelry is excluded from this credit).

Repairs

so that we may send you a Repair Authorization for you to send the item back to us for complimentary maintenance. The customer is only responsible for shipping. Garland Collects -- Please be advised that Garland Collects pieces are vintage and therefore delicate due to their age and should be worn with particular love and care. In the unfortunate event that a Garland Collects piece does require repair, please notify us and we will do our very best to return the item to as close to its original condition as possible.

Security & Privacy

Garland Collection respects and protects your privacy. The information that you provide when placing your order is only used to process that particular order and will never be shared with third parties, aside from PayPal Merchant Services (our trusted service provider) and the credit card company provided to complete your order. We may occasionally update you with new Garland Collection information using the information that you provide when checking our “Subscriber” page, but we will never share the information or divulge this list from our internal database to third parties.
